Richard Mathers will be free to play against St Helens in the last regular game of the season in nine days' time after the RFL decided not to take any disciplinary action against him.
The full-back had been placed on report against Leeds on Friday for allegedly kicking out at Rob Burrow in a tackle.

I like many others was hopeing mathers would get a 2 year ban and do us a favour what are wigan thinking of by retaining him for next year he is the worst full back we have had at wigan and i have watched them for 40 yrs.wigan keep going on about the money allowed to spend and then keep this person on for next season

ste...face it.. wire are rubbish. as for mathers being cleared. whoopeeeeee ill just rush out and buy a ticket. NOT!.... corrie sounds good, wonder if norris gets half or a pint.
